WOTA is the demand response public transportation provider for northwestern Oakland County.
WOTA transports residents from the following communities: Holly Village, Holly Township, Groveland Township, Rose Township, Highland Township, White Lake Township, Waterford Township, Lake Angelus, Sylvan Lake, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake, and Walled Lake
Driving boundaries:
North – northern border of Highland and White Lake Townships and Clarkston
East – Pontiac down to Orchard Lake Road between 12 Mile Road and 16 Mile Road and Hiller Road to Telegraph Road between Pontiac Lake Road and William Lake Road
West – US-23 (Hartland) and Kensington Road and the west edge of Milford Township
South – Grand River Avenue to 10 Mile Road and Haggerty Road
Holly area residents may also travel to Fenton, Grand Blanc, and some areas in Flint based on need. WOTA may also provide transportation to destinations outside the driving boundaries at an additional fee and/or in coordination with other public transportation providers if capacity is available (call for more information).

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a resident of one of the communities listed above. All riders must complete a Passenger Application and provide a copy of their driver’s license, state ID, utility bill, or other proof of residency.

Service Fees:
Veterans: Free (must provide a DD214, driver’s license with veteran designation, or equivalent documentation)
Seniors 55+, people with disabilities, low-income individuals: $2 per one-way trip + $1.25 per mile traveled outside the driving boundary (people with disabilities must provide a Professional Verification Form and low-income individuals must provide a Low-Income Qualification Form)
General population: $4 per one-way trip (+$2.50 per mile traveled outside the driving boundary)
